ROTE FABRIK – ZÜRICH 2004

One of the last Tadeusz Kantor's drawings titled A New Idea? refers to the next spectacle, following It's My Birthday Today. It depicts a room with some very basic equipment: a bed, bathtub and a table at which somebody is sitting on a stool. The inscription at the bottom explains that this is an individual (Andrzej) – added to the absurdity and endlessly repeating everyday activities, driving one to madness.

This drawing (and its enlarged copy rather, as a matter of fact) became a foothold and main pretext of our stage actions with participants of the workshops.
